Using Your Thermette:

A Thermette is simple to use:

Fill your Thermette with water
Click for One Minute Video! (6 mb)
For Boiling water:

First, fill your Thermette with water. You can use carried water or wild water from a river, lake or stream.

Then, add wood scraps, twigs, or other flammable materials to the fire base - just use whatever fuel is handy  .  , . place the Thermette Kettle on the fire base and light the fire.

Thermette is  perfect  for "Leave No Trace" camping...

(Please note that in dry conditions you must clear sufficient ground clutter to avoid the possibility of accidental fires.)

Continue to feed the fire from the top.  The Thermette will hold a surprising amount of fuel and soon you'll have a good sized flame.

Thermette Design Creates a Tornadic Forced Draft.

Feed the Fire from the Top of the Thermette

Keep feeding the fire until the water has boiled briskly for at least three minutes.

Use the Handles!
Remove the Thermette by the handles on its side.

Pour boiling water into cup with either a tea or coffee bag  and enjoy!

(Please note that the Thermette and fire base get very hot! Use only the handles to avoid burns.)

We know that  similar kettles and cookers are on the market...   The Thermette is the only outdoor kettle that can be used with one hand without fear of being burned.  The handles always stay cool to the touch.

There's no bail to scorch your knuckles and you don't need a chain to balance a Thermette for safe pouring.

.Pour and enjoy!
Thermette Cooking and Boiling!
For Cooking and  Boiling Water:

Simply set the included cooking ring  on the top of the boiler and use the flame and heat exhausted from the Thermette to prepare your favorite outdoor meal while waiting for the water to boil.

Drain your Thermette and let it cool before packing it away for transport. (Remember to thoroughly extinguish the fire before moving the fire base!)

If you need more cooking time after the water in the Thermette starts to boil, add the steel burner ring and place the cooking ring directly on the fire ring to continue cooking while your coffee or tea is brewing!
Simple but Effective Cook Stove!
Use as a Cook Stove Alone!
Thermette  allows any outdoor enthusiast to prepare a hot drink or meal in minutes!
